A mystery has emerged in the makeup business about a beauty line that was a hit among the elite and a huge success for the cosmetics industry.
Victoria Secret has sold a line of makeup that is exclusive to the cosmetics retailer’s namesake brand, Victoria Secret.
The line, called Secret Kiss Beauty, is the product of a secret collaboration between two Victoria Secret beauty experts and is not yet on sale.
Secret Kiss Beauty is made up of two products, the Secret Kiss Foundation and the Secret Kitten Eye Pencil, which are $10 each.
They were launched in December.
The Secret Kiss line is being promoted by a Victoria Secret spokesperson.
She declined to comment on the product.
But a spokeswoman for Secret Kiss said the cosmetics company is not releasing the products in the United States.
Secret Kiss said in a statement that it has been approached by “some of the most talented and influential beauty experts in the world” who are working to help us “create a collection of unique, innovative products.”
“We’re excited to be part of this incredible collaboration with the Victoria Secret team, who have worked hard to bring us this incredible range of products, including the latest in makeup technology,” the statement said.
The products, which include a facial moisturizer, lip tint and eye makeup, were unveiled last week and will go on sale in the U.S. on June 2.
“We’ve been looking forward to bringing these amazing products to market for over a year,” said Victoria Secret CEO and founder Anna Wintour.
“The Secret Kittens and Secret Kiss are the best makeup experiences we’ve ever had.
Victoria Secret is a beauty brand with a long and rich history, and the fact that it can now bring these unique and groundbreaking products to life, is an incredible accomplishment.
I’m excited to continue our partnership with Victoria Secret, and to collaborate with such incredible beauty experts, who are passionate about their craft.”
Victoria, which is owned by American company H&M, owns the brand Secret Kiss.
It is not known if the two products will be available in the states, where the cosmetics brand is not a household name.
Victoria Secret said the products are available in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the United Kingdom.
